MP128 High-speed Base-band Modem
The MP128 model is a high-speed base-band modem used in DDN, X.25 network and frame-relay network. The MP128E and MP128ES are desk type, and MP128C is card type that inserts into the standard 19-inch 4U Maipu intelligent chassis.
The modem:
- Transmits up to 6.5km on 0.4mm copper wire
- Provides scalable network management
- Offers base-band modem compatibility
- Reads running configuration from central settings

Good compatibility
MP128 can be compatible with Tainet, RAD, LOOP and JNA -- same type base-band modems
