MP9400 Integrated Multiplexing Access Server
MP9400 and MP9400.E access servers are leased line access platforms for large enterprises. The products are suitable for telecom operator service of copper wire access, optical access and Ethernet leased line access for large enterprises.
MP9400 adopts standard 19 chassis (7U height) and erect service card. MP9400.E adopts the same standard chassis (2U height) and horizontal service card. MP9400 and MP9400E support the same service card.

Advanced product structure
The two kinds of chassis install on standard 19 frame and support the same access card. MP9400 front board has access card light and wire exit while the backboard supports power supply wire.
MP9400 comprises power supply card, routing time slot switch card, and PDH and bridge service card and another service card. The routing time-slot switch card (controller card) is the core module of MP9400, which features data crossing, aggregation and network management functions. It runs network management agent program on network management card to manage kinds of service cards and provides one 10/100M Ethernet interface to realize network management. The controller card provides four E1 interfaces. The internal connecting unit connects the data, and other slots support MP9400 service card.
Cross, transmission, multiplexing, access integration
The data among four E1 interfaces or between four interfaces and every service card is transmitted and multiplexed by backboard bus with NX64Kbps. The PDH card connects to FT160 series fiber transceiver via fiber and monitors the service.
Built-in router
MP9400 built-in router supports internal/external network management and standard HDLC protocol. It realizes the construction of different scales and network topology, and also each kind of increment service based on IP.
Simple graphic network management
MP9400 uses Maipu AccessManager to manage the network. This software adopts SNMP network management protocol based on TCP/IP, visual panel, graphic interface, dialog box connection, and parameter choice.
Data backup and restoration
MP9400 supports backup of important systems and user configuration to computer disk, so whenever needed it restores data to the system.
High efficiency and low cost
MP9400 provides high price-performance solution to offer FR, ATM and SDH network accesses. The network operators use the present network resource and reduce operating costs.
Dual-power supply hot backup
It can choose dual power supply card back up with each other to ensure the non-stop work of the system. The input voltage can be 220V AC or -48V DC.
Standard chassis
The system adopts standard 19 7U (or 2U) chassis. All communication service card circuit interfaces are in front of chassis, the interface cable can reach the back of the chassis from the front of the chassis.
Support hot-swappable
The service access card and power supply card of MP9400 support hot-swap, and can be changed during non-stop system operation.
Software download
It realizes system upgrade via upgrade controller card and service card software.
PDH card smart access
Four E1 interfaces, three fiber interfaces and eight service interfaces of system bus cross arbitrarily, and the capability of single card crossing reaches to 40M (equal to 20 E1s)
PDH card intelligently manages FT160/FT160B fiber transceiver
MP94MPDH card connects with FT160/FT160B via fiber, and it aggregates the service, remote monitors and upgrades.
Network bridge card provides multiple network interfaces
The network bridge card provides four or eight 10/100M Ethernet interfaces (default: full-duplex/half-duplex adaptive, support 10Base-T, 100Base-Tx and four or eight E1 WAN interfaces (RJ45 or DB40, can be BNC).
Optional port rate of network bridge card
It realizes N64KbpsN=1~32dual-direction user digital transmission on a pair of trunk line to load leased line Ethernet service.
Convenient maintenance of network bridge card installation
The network bridge card features WAN channel designation by observing WAN link (whether the end-to-end service channel is established) making it easy to install and maintain.
