MP3600 Series Edge Aggregation Router
The MP3600 Series Edge Aggregation router facilitates WAN small-scale aggregation, uplink, and medium Internet access platform. It includes MP3640B and MP3680 comprising four and eight MIMs supporting 40-port E1 interface access with packet-forwarding capability of 130K-400Kpps.
The MP3600 series router follows Maipu ''complete network investment protection theory'' and allows network upgrade and extension. The router has powerful aggregation capability to satisfy the client''s large-scale application requirement. It adopts complete modularization designs of integrated 1/2/4 FE Ethernet interface or 1FE electric interface and 1GE optical/electric Ethernet interface on control board allowing MIM.
The router utilizes MyPower-R software. It provides:

The router provides BGP edge gateway protocol and MPLS protocol and supports standard PPTP, L2TP, IPsec to establish VPN network from L2 to L3
The inbuilt firewall function provides ACL packet filter, NAT, authentication audit, routing check, callback and service protection refuse security features
