MP2600 Series Security Router
The MP2600 series modular security router is a network access router for WAN small-scale aggregation and end access. The series includes MP2600C/D/E.
The router provides integrates routing, VoIP, security, transmission, network and video network applications. It provides many software features and supports terminal access server function, SNA/DLSw, VoIP, VPN and MPLS application technologies. It provides good backup and QOS features. The router is suitable for data, video, VoIP and many access solutions.
The router adopts modular structure with integrated high-speed Ethernet interface and optional modules. The router, when combined with other Maipu series routers, provides complete WAN network solutions for operator, finance, government, energy sources, traffic, education and military sectors, and large-medium scale enterprises.
MP2600
MP2600E supports four E1/CE1 with 110Kpps throughput. This applies to large and medium branch office access also.
MP2600C and MP2600D adopt fixed and modular structure to provide a low-cost solution with a 60Kpps throughput and apply to medium and small branch access.
Key Features
High Speed Forwarding Engine Technology
The series router adopts Maipus high-speed forwarding engine with the throughput of 110Kpps of MP2600E and 60Kpps of MP2600C/D to support 10Mbps bandwidth wire.
All-in-one
The router adopts All-in-One technology. The inset transmission module includes frequency band 33.6K modem, baseband 128K modem and ISDN modules. The integrated modem modules save network investment.
Optical-electric isolation technology
The router effectively prevents static electricity, lightning strike, on/off high-voltage damage to interfaces.
Remote management
The inset dialing modem or console interface external dialing modem functions as telnet and the user switches to telnet configuration mode using button and dialing interfaces for remote service.
BGP protocol & MPLS
The router supports BGP edge gateway protocol and MPLS, which works as CE, PE node in MPLS network. The customer via simple configuration receives communication and establishes connection with other equipment of MPLS function.
Compatibility
The router is RFC-compliant. It is compatible with network equipment of Cisco, Huawei and Juniper.
